| More than 500 million OEM toner and inkjet cartridges are manufactured every year. If these cartridges are not diverted from our landfills, this equates to almost 1,000 tons of unnecessary pollution that can enter our waste stream every day. In addition to this potential waste, more than three quarts of oil are consumed during the manufacturing of every OEM cartridge. This equates to more than 375,000,000 gallons of oil consumed every year to make toner and inkjet cartridges. Even worse than these staggering atrocities is that many cartridges end up in cities like Guiyu, China where they are incinerated or dissolved with hazardous chemicals to extract residual metals. These processes contaminate the local air, soil and groundwater and one in ten children in Guiyu have birth defects due to this horrific pollution. | | |
MSE manufactures and distributes more than 400 different toner cartridges, MICR toner cartridges, inkjet cartridges and thermal transfer ribbons for today's most popular office equipment.
All products are manufactured under the most stringent manufacturing conditions. MSE evaluates every matched system of components in search of the perfect combination for performance that meets or exceeds the OEM specifications.
Many of our components are proprietary and made exclusively for MSE. In addition, we have patented our own manufacturing technologies which allows us to increase product quality and reliability as well as manufacturing efficiencies. | | |

| MSE Brand Imaging Supplies are environmentally friendly. MSE conserves nature's resources by reusing certain non-wearing plastic shells and metal components from spent OEM cartridges. MSE is proud to manufacture more than 100,000 environmentally conscious toner and inkjet cartridges every month. We are proud to offer additional recycling services for your spent and/or surplus imaging supplies. Please attempt to bundle as many empty toner and inkjet cartridges when shipping back for recycling. You may also add used cell phones in the box (please do not include the battery). Help us preserve our environment for generations to come. Please reduce, reuse and recycle. | |

With Green Works cleaners, Clorox has set a new standard for natural cleaning – the products are as effective as conventional cleaners in its category but made from plant-based ingredients.
I am equally proud to announce another first: an alliance with the Sierra Club, the oldest, largest and most influential grassroots environmental organization in the United States. Our partnership with the Sierra Club is significant for Green Works and for our entire company. It is critical for the environment that industries such as ours move toward sustainability.
As you can imagine, the dialogue with an organization so committed to the environment didn’t happen overnight. Extensive conversations between the Sierra Club and Clorox took place over several months. They included tough questions and straight answers not only about Green Works, but about our complete product portfolio, sustainability initiatives and corporate practices.
We are honored to have the opportunity to turn to the Sierra Club for counsel and guidance as we make our journey to becoming a more sustainable company.
